THE LOWDOWN: This is a sample of the latest tenants annual report I wrote for London housing provider, Family Mosaic. Easy reading is the primary aim with this publication. So, not only are sentences short and easy to understand, the overall content offers bitesize pieces of information for readers to scan and refer back to.  Overview 'stanfirst' paragraphs at the start of each section, 'at a glance' bullet point summaries at the end, pull out copy, extended picture captions and good use of subheads make it easy to navigate and understand. The report got more than 1,000 likes on the company's Facebook page. Here's a section to give you a feel for tone, pace and writing style.
